Kang Eun Jeon is a post-doctoral fellow in the Convergence Research Institute and Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at SungKyunKwan University (SKKU). Before joining SKKU, he received his Ph.D. degree at the Hong Kong University and Science and Technology (HKUST) under the supervision of Prof. James She. His doctoral thesis focused on designing smart BLE beacons to enable sustainable IoT via hardware, firmware, and machine learning co-designs. His research interests now expand to various on-device machine learning techniques that jointly optimize device power consumption and performance.
